Friendly, Knowledgable, Nice and Very Helpful…

Kathy is very nice and friendly. She helped me a lot at Quiltworx University. She is very knowledgeable with Judy Niemeyer quilts.
The perfect choice for our quilt club!

Couldn’t have done it without BobKat Quilts….

Finished my first JN quilt top last week. Go big or go home, right? I really couldn’t have done it without the guidance of BobKat Quilts online class. Now, I am hooked and have two more JN quilts planned!!

Quiltworx Lone Star Diamond Quilts – Zoom Class

Join me and create your first quilt of 2021 — a beautiful Quiltworx Lone Star based quilt.
You will be amazed at how quickly these Lone Stars come together! Purchase your fabrics new — or use this as a great Stash-Busting project as the Lone Star units are built using strips!
This is a Zoom class!
Avoid loading your machine and supplies in the cold and snow… attend from the comfort of your own sewing studio. All sessions are recorded and you can review them over and over so you won’t miss a thing!
Choose one of the following Quiltworx patterns:
- Diamonds in Bloom
- Ice Castles
- Prismatic Star Queen
- Tattered Star
- Zen Garden
These are great patterns that you can personalize with some really creative color placement – check out the variations in this short video
Class will meet virtually on the following dates (but if you can’t make one or more — you can always watch the recorded session!)
Saturday, January 9 — 10:00 AM – Noon — Getting Started (preparing your strips, gathering your materials, understanding the pattern)
Saturday, January 16 – 10:00 AM – Noon — Sewing the Lone Star Units
Saturday, January 23 – 10:00 AM – Noon — Sewing the remaining pieces of your quilt
Saturday, February 6 – 10:00 AM – Noon — Assembling your quilt
Your registration fee of $130 includes all instruction (live and recorded) as well as the pattern of your choice.

Diamonds in Bloom – (100″ x 100″)
Ice Castles – (100″ x 100″)
Prismatic Star Queen – (91″ x 91″)
Tattered Star – (91″ x 91″)
Zen Garden – (80″ x 80″)
A Special Option
These lone star based quilts are a lot of fun, but planning your color placement can be a little mind boggling. Simplify your planning and fabric shopping for this project. Purchase our $25 Quiltster Consultation and I’ll help you visualize up to three options with your color choices and fabrics. We can start with your stash or your favorite colors and fabrics. The process will generate a color print-out of your design and will give you a detailed shopping list for your favorite shop or I can connect you with a Certified Quiltworx Shop who will use your customized Quiltster report to assemble your personalized fabric kit. This Quiltster Consultation is a separate purchase from our store. We will schedule a one hour appointment for your consultation ideally at least 1 month before Class 1.

Looking forward to more classes with Kathy

Took a class at Quilt University and at Leabu Sewing Center. Can’t wait to take more. QU was my first class and it was excellent!
I’ve taken many of classes, Yours are among the best!

It is obvious that you have taught before. You have a lot of clarity and seem to anticipate your student’s needs. It is obvious that you want things to go well and are very patient. Your follow up videos help break things down and reinforce class learning.
Looking forward to next weekends class and I have already registered for your Dinner Plate Dahlia course coming up.

All my Quiltster Questions Answered … And MORE!

Quiltster is a phenomenal tool.. and you made it even more useful for me in understanding the “sync” button and swapping out all fabrics from the print/fabric screen.
I wanted to let you know your approach to virtual teaching is total complete and truly well put together for your students success. Your use of PowerPoints and PDF electronic handouts all kept handy and accessible in an online folder add tremendous value to your classes.
I might add you come across very well in sharing compassionately with students of all levels of experience, keeping it fun and rewarding.
