Applique the Quiltworx Way
Are you getting started on Carnival Flower and are a bit nervous about those nearly 400 little pieces of applique? Those are just a few patterns that have applique as a featured design component! Let me teach you how easy it is to do Applique the Quiltworx Way!
It doesn’t matter which pattern you are working on — let me show you how to prepare the Bosal Stitch N Peel product and your fabrics AND how to stitch them down to your quilt top fabric! It is truly far less intimidating that you think! And let me introduce you to the perfect thread — Invisifil by Wonderfil! (I can get you the color you want! Just PM me!) I have available all the specialty supplies you will need: Roxanne’s Glue Baste-it Dip & Dab, Light Table, Purple Thang, Needles!
And did you know that the Bosal product is available separately? Use it with your Silhouette, Cricut, Scan and Cut or your Accuquilt to create beautiful NON-RAW EDGE, NON-FUSED Machine embroidery!

Fun instructor who teaches to all levels of skill
Just wanted to post a little note. I am very new to sewing and especially quilting. My friend, who lives in Indiana, asked me if I wanted to take a quilting class with her. So I did. Kathy was beyond fantastic. She is a true instructor who understands how not to overwhelm students who are trying to learn a new skill set. It was super fun, relaxing and I learned a lot. There were some very experienced quilters in the class who also learned a lot. I’ve already decided that I’m going to Shipshewana again next year (2025)!
