I was thrilled when I found this class for the Twinkle Star. I wanted to be introduced to Judy Niemeyer paper piecing and this was the perfect way to do it. I thought I was going to have to do it on my own, purchased a Twinkle Star quilt kit over a year ago and hadn’t gotten to it. I will hopefully have time in the future to take more classes! We recently had our quilt guild show. My Carnival Flower took Second Place and Viewer’s Choice!
If it hadn’t been for the class I took with you, I wouldn’t have finished it nor would it have turned out as good as it did! There were so many little tips and tricks I picked up from your class that I feel made all the difference when it came to some of the trickier elements. I made sure to tell anyone who asked I took a class with you and that it was awesome ! 🙂

The Zoom class was a great way to teach and the cameras were positioned to really see what she was teaching. The nice thing about the recorded classes is the ability to re-watch tricky areas of the sewing. It really gave me the confidence to venture ahead outside of class. I highly recommend this way of teaching! Kathy was exceptional to make sure no student was left behind 🙂

Quiltworx patterns are more than a little overwhelming when you first read the instructions. I was a little nervous thinking of tackling one on my own and came across your ZOOM class. You are a very good teacher… kind and patient. There are some areas of the Quiltworx instructions that are not as clear as I would have liked them to be (adding the veins, is one example.) Your class added the extra know-how for a successful project. Thank You!
