I had never tackled anything like the Dinner Plate Dahlia before.  I was really skeptical whether I could do it, but Kathy made it do-able.  I really appreciate not only Kathy’s help and instruction, but especially her support!  Great class, even better instructor! I met some really great classmates as well!

I am really glad that I got an opportunity to take the Summer Solstice class with Kathy. I have always admired Judy Niemeyer designs but got discouraged when I saw how many pages there were to the instructions for a single quilt.
Kathy was great at taking it in segments and working through the process to make it not seem like such a huge mountain to climb. She incorporates some of her own ideas/techniques that make the process even easier.
You won’t regret taking a class with her!

I really like your hybrid teaching concept with great in-person instruction, supplemented with videos shared before and available for review after the retreat.  I think that is more of the way the future will look.  Many traditional quilters like the in-person sessions, and I understand that. But those of us with jobs and kids and other responsibilities cannot afford to be away for long periods of time.  While this was a table topper class,  I did purchase a queen size pattern, so it was worth going thru the class versus doing something from videos only.
