I was thrilled when I found this class for the Twinkle Star. I wanted to be introduced to Judy Niemeyer paper piecing and this was the perfect way to do it. I thought I was going to have to do it on my own, purchased a Twinkle Star quilt kit over a year ago and hadn’t gotten to it. I will hopefully have time in the future to take more classes! Thanks Kathy!

I just finished the quilting fundamentals class. I am an average sewer for crafts/boho bags and some clothes. Was a little concerned I would be in over my head with my busy schedule. I absolutely loved this class, easy to understand and well explained! The pace gave me time to practice my blocks and move on. Kathy is excellent (and it shows) in her teaching and presentations and she organizes them in an easy and understandable class sessions.
My confidence is much higher now and I’m ready for future projects. Thank you Kathy!

I took a class from Kathy last year.  It was the Bali Wedding Star. I made it for my daughter and son in law. On a lark I entered it in our local guilds quilt show. I won viewers choice ! I loved the class. I learned not to be so awed at the idea of the complex process and the many components to this quilt. Kathy taught us to be methodical and follow the provided instructions. Kathy worked with us every step of the way and stepped in when we made mistakes. While I previously felt overwhelmed by this pattern, every step was broken down and there was success at each step along the way.
I had a fantastic two days. I would take another class from Kathy without a moment’s hesitation!
