I had a wonderful time learning how to paper-piece the Quiltworx “Seasonal Table Runner”. Kathy is a seasoned instructor and well versed in the Quiltworx philosophy. She presented many additional tips and tricks of the trade that ensure your ability to remember and persevere on your own after the class. Topics covered in addition to paper piecing: curved piecing, use of glue sticks, design considerations, learning aids, etc. Definitely an instructor for anyone who is a beginner or has had difficulty with paper piecing in the past.

I LOVE your class! I have never enjoyed “doing a Judy” SO much! I wanted to tell you that the way you teach is fantastic. I was all cut out for Friday’s class and it was because your video on cutting was PERFECT. For me, it was just the right mix of show and teachI can’t wait til next class. (And I am figuring out what class I will do next!)

Can’t say enough about how fun, laid back, and informational this retreat has been! I can’t truly say I’m “bummed” about missing her next one because I’m going to Quiltworx (!!!) in October, but if it weren’t for that I’d be doing everything I could to be here. Kathy, your trunk show and presentation of your work was stunning. You have given me the ambition to try tackling these stunning patterns. All I can say, if you have the chance to see Kathy’s trunk show- you must! Her personality shines through and is only embellished by her quilting talent.
