Quiltster is a phenomenal tool.. and you made it even more useful for me in understanding the “sync” button and swapping out all fabrics from the print/fabric screen.
I wanted to let you know your approach to virtual teaching is total complete and truly well put together for your students success. Your use of PowerPoints and PDF electronic handouts all kept handy and accessible in an online folder add tremendous value to your classes.

I have a Masters degree along with my Nurse Practitioner and have taken many college courses as well as Continuing Medical Education over the years. I have been telling my husband (who is a pulmonologist) how much I have learned from you already (only a couple of classes into the course) and how much I have enjoyed your classes. He commented that I have appeared very interested and happy about learning each time I have taken your class in this series.
It is obvious that you have taught before. You have a lot of clarity and seem to anticipate your student’s needs. It is obvious that you want things to go well and are very patient. Your follow up videos help break things down and reinforce class learning.
Looking forward to next weekends class and I have already registered for your Dinner Plate Dahlia course coming up.

I can’t truly say I’m “bummed” about missing her next one because I’m going to Quiltworx (!!!) in October, but if it weren’t for that I’d be doing everything I could to be here. I enjoyed my quilt club’s 3 session zoom class. Zoom is a good way to give quilters continued access to classes during a time of social distancing, and the pattern Kathy chose for our group was the perfect one for a Judy Neimeyer Zoom class. Kathy was well prepared and very helpful throughout the class. She knows JN pattern construction very well and also provided many useful quilting tips I can use on other projects.

What a relief it was to have Judy recommend Kathy Groves’ Bali Wedding star quilt class. I have been quilting since 2016 and have taken one other Judy N class. I just love Kathy’s classes as she is well organized and teaches to each participant’s skill level. Although I was working on a King size wedding quilt instead of the table topper, Kathy took the extra time to walk me through the process, double check my piecing and cutting math and generally just give me the support I needed to finish this quilt. I will definitely be taking another class with her. The advantage of zoom classes is being able to see her work close up and clearly, which is something I always missed with in person classes. Hopefully soon we will be able to have in person classes and I look forward to meeting her in person. She is just outstanding.
