I loved the class. I learned not to be so awed at the idea of the complex process and the many components to this quilt. Kathy taught us to be methodical and follow the provided instructions. Kathy worked with us every step of the way and stepped in when we made mistakes. While I previously felt overwhelmed by this pattern, every step was broken down and there was success at each step along the way.
I had a fantastic two days. I would take another class from Kathy without a moment’s hesitation!

This sometimes results in my packages being flagged as “no such address”. BobKat Quilts dealt quickly and professionally with me to get my order into my hands after it was returned. I enjoyed the class today even though I wasn’t doing the actual Judy Niemeyer quilt that was being taught. My feedback is that I would like to have seen a little more of the actual stitching, especially doing the inside & outside points. I did have some interruptions on my side when you was talking about the threads to use & I’ll go back and watch that (the advantage of sharing the class recordings!) I did enjoy seeing the needle books, I will have to do that also.

I loved taking this class with Kathy. Having the ability to go back over the videos when I got stuck made it totally worth while. She shared so much information I was overwhelmed by the value from this class! Not just the three class sessions, but additional videos on specific skills and the PowerPoint slides — it was well worth the cost. I love her down to earth folksy names for various things like “the fluffy side” , “feet in the aisle”, “smiles and frowns”. Having the three class dates over six weeks was the perfect pace for me. It gave me enough time to keep going and I was able to complete the top two days after the last class. I will definitely be taking more of Kathy’s classes in the future!
