Never shy of a quilting challenge, I purchased a kit and began working on my first Judy Niemeyer quilt, Dinner Plate Dahlia. Everything went smoothly except for one small unit mid-pattern that I could not get my head around. While looking for help online, I discovered Kathy’s website and realized that she had pieced the cover photo for the Quiltworx pattern. I contacted Kathy and she responded quickly, setting me straight with just a few email messages. I am forever grateful for Kathy’s kindness and clear direction, and look forward to taking one of her online classes soon.

Just finished up Kathy’s Zoom class for the Poinsettia Table Topper. I cannot express how happy I am, not only with the class experience for my first Judy project, but with my project overall. Kathy explains very well on how to do each piece. She is very patient and answers everyone’s questions until they get it. I highly recommend her classes for anyone, beginners and experienced quilters both will love it.

I was all cut out for Friday’s class and it was because your video on cutting was PERFECT. For me, it was just the right mix of show and teachI can’t wait til next class. I just finished the quilting fundamentals class. I am an average sewer for crafts/boho bags and some clothes. Was a little concerned I would be in over my head with my busy schedule. I absolutely loved this class, easy to understand and well explained! The pace gave me time to practice my blocks and move on. Kathy is excellent (and it shows) in her teaching and presentations and she organizes them in an easy and understandable class sessions.
My confidence is much higher now and I’m ready for future projects. Thank you Kathy!
