I thought the shipping cost was a little high, but had nowhere else to get the beautiful Quiltworx Wedding Star Table Topper kit I found on the BobKat Quilts website, so I ordered it. When I got it, I was very pleasantly surprised to see Kathy’s hand-written note on the receipt that shipping actually didn’t cost as much as I was charged, and she had refunded the difference. Sure enough, it showed up on my credit card account. Thank you for that attention to detail, and for keeping my cost as low as possible! (That will help me buy another Quiltworx kit sooner… LOL) This was my first experience with this shop, and I look forward to more.

Can’t say enough about how fun, laid back, and informational this retreat has been! I can’t truly say I’m “bummed” about missing her next one because I’m going to Quiltworx (!!!) in October, but if it weren’t for that I’d be doing everything I could to be here. Never shy of a quilting challenge, I purchased a kit and began working on my first Judy Niemeyer quilt, Dinner Plate Dahlia. Everything went smoothly except for one small unit mid-pattern that I could not get my head around. While looking for help online, I discovered Kathy’s website and realized that she had pieced the cover photo for the Quiltworx pattern. I contacted Kathy and she responded quickly, setting me straight with just a few email messages. I am forever grateful for Kathy’s kindness and clear direction, and look forward to taking one of her online classes soon.

I purchased a Dinner Plate Dahlia quilt kit awhile back and I realized had no idea how to make that quilt. Then I found Kathy’s zoom class. I was so glad I took her class. She’s an excellent instructor. Very patient and does her best to make sure all students are following along. She’s very responsive to questions. The zoom platform is really much better than an in person class. It’s very easy to follow the instructor and see exactly what she’s doing unlike an in person class where your vision is obstructed by others. I plan on taking the Coral Reef class once I finish my DPD. Thanks Kathy for offering great classes!

We recently had our quilt guild show. My Carnival Flower took Second Place and Viewer’s Choice!
If it hadn’t been for the class I took with you, I wouldn’t have finished it nor would it have turned out as good as it did! There were so many little tips and tricks I picked up from your class that I feel made all the difference when it came to some of the trickier elements. I made sure to tell anyone who asked I took a class with you and that it was awesome ! 🙂
