I really like your hybrid teaching concept with great in-person instruction, supplemented with videos shared before and available for review after the retreat.  I think that is more of the way the future will look.  Many traditional quilters like the in-person sessions, and I understand that. But those of us with jobs and kids and other responsibilities cannot afford to be away for long periods of time.  While this was a table topper class,  I did purchase a queen size pattern, so it was worth going thru the class versus doing something from videos only.

I ordered the Upsy Daisy pattern from your online shop and I just want to say thank you for including such wonderful notes about preparing the fabric and doing the applique.   You saved me from searching the internet for tips.  I will spread the word about you and your shop among my friends!

She was very patient, she didn’t ‘over-teach’.  She’d let me try a new technique, but she would catch me before I made a serious mistake by asking me to explain what I was going to do next.   This really helped me understand the process.   She provided lots of little tips along the way… like how to remove the foundation paper without pulling out the stitches.
