I purchased a Dinner Plate Dahlia quilt kit awhile back and I realized had no idea how to make that quilt. Then I found Kathy’s zoom class. I was so glad I took her class. She’s an excellent instructor. Very patient and does her best to make sure all students are following along. She’s very responsive to questions. The zoom platform is really much better than an in person class. It’s very easy to follow the instructor and see exactly what she’s doing unlike an in person class where your vision is obstructed by others. I plan on taking the Coral Reef class once I finish my DPD. Thanks Kathy for offering great classes!

I enjoyed the class today even though I wasn’t doing the actual Judy Niemeyer quilt that was being taught. My feedback is that I would like to have seen a little more of the actual stitching, especially doing the inside & outside points. I did have some interruptions on my side when you was talking about the threads to use & I’ll go back and watch that (the advantage of sharing the class recordings!)  I did enjoy seeing the needle books, I will have to do that also.

I had never tackled anything like the Dinner Plate Dahlia before.  I was really skeptical whether I could do it, but Kathy made it do-able.  I really appreciate not only Kathy’s help and instruction, but especially her support!  Great class, even better instructor! I met some really great classmates as well!
