Happy National Quilting Day! What are you working on? Me.. last night I started another Wedding Star Table Topper -- this time in Maize and Blue (I just hope my hubby doesn't see it! Or my family! They all tend to prefer other color combinations! LOL) ... See MoreSee Less
Although an orange and blue one would be very pleasing...
Erica Cruse will love it I'm sure.
PS -- all paper piecing is complete. Tomorrow will be assembly day. This is such a fun, fast quilt! I had forgotten that the melons are the trickiest piece -- but even those came out great! Watch for a picture of my finished top this time tomorrow!
how do you bind that quilt, Kathy?
Beautiful pattern! Colors...not so much unless you’re thinking University of Toledo!😍

In preparing for a demo of the Creative Grids Wave Ruler this Saturday at the Greater Ann Arbor Quilt Guild (Michigan) -- I thought I would try to use it to do long, linear strips without subcutting them into 12 1/2" blocks. It took a little playing -- and the use of a Frixion pen to make the necessary markings -- but the answer is YES! You can do it! This is really a cool ruler! It is used for the Wicker Basket pattern, the soon to be released Windy Day book, spruce up a simple 9 patch or even make a fun row quilt! Stop in to the Demos on Saturday -- or order your ruler on my site at www.bobkatquilts.com! It is really slick! (You knew it would be -- it's a Quiltworx design!)
You can pre-order the books online or at the demo, too! ... See MoreSee Less
