I was thrilled when I found this class for the Twinkle Star. I wanted to be introduced to Judy Niemeyer paper piecing and this was the perfect way to do it. I thought I was going to have to do it on my own, purchased a Twinkle Star quilt kit over a year ago and hadn’t gotten to it. I will hopefully have time in the future to take more classes! I enjoyed my quilt club’s 3 session zoom class. Zoom is a good way to give quilters continued access to classes during a time of social distancing, and the pattern Kathy chose for our group was the perfect one for a Judy Neimeyer Zoom class. Kathy was well prepared and very helpful throughout the class. She knows JN pattern construction very well and also provided many useful quilting tips I can use on other projects.

The Fundamentals of Quilting was a wonderful class, lots of information and links to fully understand new techniques. I finished the class with three sample quilts and ready to tackle bigger projects. Kathy has a wealth of experience and willingly shares, answered questions and helped everyone be successful. Most classes went over in time. Make sure you budget time to practice between sessions — She’ll give you instant feedback!
I would definitely take another course through zoom, as I still have so much to learn.
