Hands down the best Quiltworx class I have ever taken!

One class gave me what I needed!

I completed my Prism Table Runner! Your “Geese in Flight Placemat” class gave me the basics (and the confidence to start this project. Thank you!
I’m so happy with the result!

With your explanations and videos, I learned how to read, divide, and assemble a Quiltworx pattern. Thanks for that!
What I really appreciated about the videos was the clear structure, your personal explanations and countless tips and tricks. Even when something went wrong, you guided us through it… what a huge help.
Thanks for all of your help!
Now I have to start quilting!

Poppins Bag Zoom Class — Become a BAG LADY!

This is a great bag — pattern by AuntiesTwo! It sits flat and opens wide (and stays open!) so you can fill with all kinds of things! Use it to transport your Featherweight, your project or use it at the perfect travel accessory!
Large zipper top bag great for all of your magical stuff! Two pockets on the outside and inside keep everything organized. Structural stays keep it in shape. Use a focus fabric and channel stitch the body of the bag OR stitch and flip 2 1/2″ strips.
Size: 18″ wide x 12″ deep x 14″ tall
Class includes pattern (and pattern includes the stays). You’ll need several other components — we have a special notions kit available in our store, or you can source your own.
Class meets on Sundays from 1 to 3:30 — and only 3 sessions to create this fun sturdy tote bag.
Sunday, May 2 — 1:00 – 3:30 CDT

Very thorough and knowledgeable teacher!

Here we are in a time when we can’t meet in person and there is a learning curve for everyone, but Kathy took it on and was able to succeed. I know she will see everyone through in completing their various projects. Kathy obviously is very comfortable teaching any class. Suggestions for Zoom would be to pre-record just the instructions for the day, and then take questions and open up for sewing, where appropriate. I really appreciate the instructions in the separate videos that were given after the fact. I would pay for classes that aren’t interactive, but are just the recordings. I’m sure I will take part in future classes.
Friendly, Knowledgable, Nice and Very Helpful…

Kathy is very nice and friendly. She helped me a lot at Quiltworx University. She is very knowledgeable with Judy Niemeyer quilts.
