All my Quiltster Questions Answered … And MORE!
Quiltster is a phenomenal tool.. and you made it even more useful for me in understanding the “sync” button and swapping out all fabrics from the print/fabric screen.
I wanted to let you know your approach to virtual teaching is total complete and truly well put together for your students success. Your use of PowerPoints and PDF electronic handouts all kept handy and accessible in an online folder add tremendous value to your classes.
I might add you come across very well in sharing compassionately with students of all levels of experience, keeping it fun and rewarding.

Goodnight Star / StarBaby at Honey Bee Quilt Store – Austin, TX
Tuesday Evenings: June 6, Jun 20 & Jul 18 5:00 – 8:30 pm
This newer pattern by Quiltworx is a fast, fun bed sized quilt! Perfect for first time “Judy Quilt” makers or those who just love the magic of her patterns and techniques! Quilt finishes at 96″ x 96″ but goes together so, so quickly!
Pattern: The Goodnight Star by Quiltworx (retails for $38.00) or if you want a smaller project — try StarBaby (retails for $23.00). This 2 1/2″ strip based quilt (with added background fabrics) is a great stash buster or let me and the staff at Honey Bee Quilt Store help you build a custom kit.
Class Prep: Watch Kathy Groves’ QUILTWORX 101 video – especially if you are new to Quiltworx patterns. You will also need to prepare your pattern by trimming and bagging the papers and to begin cutting your fabrics – but before the first class you’ll just be cutting 2 ½” x 44-45” strips! Additional information will be provided upon registration. Fabric Kits can be preordered.
This class will be a live / Zoom hybrid. I will be teaching live — but you will have Zoom videos to supplement your learning. No need to “remember how I showed you” — just watch me do it again!
