Diamond Wedding Star by Quiltworx – Live Zoom Series

This is a quilt I’ve long wanted to make!  Now is the time!

The Diamond Wedding Star finishes at 96″ x 99″.  You can do the piecing only — which allows for exquisite quilting to highlight your piecing.  Or you can add applique to add another layer of beauty to your quilt.  Go holiday (I’ll be doing my applique in reds for a Poinsettia & Holly look) or go beautiful spring, summer or fall colors!  Any color combination you choose this quilt will be a stunner!

The quilt is build to use one of Judy’s 2 1/2″ strip sets (I have many colorways available) or you can create your own!  The intro class will explain fully how to color and coordinate your fabric purchases to create the quilt of your dreams.  The pattern is also available in Quiltster.  (Never used Quiltster before?  Purchase my one demand Quiltster class and you’ll be up to speed in no time at all.)

Classes meet LIVE on Saturday morning for a discussion and explanation of your upcoming homework.  Separate instructional sewing videos will detail the actual techniques required to sew each component and through the assembly process.

Choose to add applique to your quilt — or just do the piecing!  It’s up to you.  Instruction will be provided for both applique options:  traditional machine applique using Judy’s applique products OR choose machine digitized embroidery applique using the Fabric Confetti Software.  The differences and options will be discussed in the intro class session.
