Loving Kathy’s Zoom Class in Australia

I can only say how fantastic the zoom Poinsettia class was. Kathy is an excellent instructor. All stages are made very clear and simple. This was my first project and because I’m in Australia I found the recorded lessons great

Wonderful Class – Talented Instructor

I had a wonderful time learning how to paper-piece the Quiltworx “Seasonal Table Runner”. Kathy is a seasoned instructor and well versed in the Quiltworx philosophy. She presented many additional tips and tricks of the trade that ensure your ability

Tequila Lime by Quiltworx – Zoom Class

March 16, 2022 @ 10:00 am - 12:30 pm CDT

$30.00 – $250.00

This beautiful NEW pattern by Quiltworx is one I’m super excited to be making!  And I hope you’ll consider joining me and make one of your own.  As always, the Foundation Paper Piecing Technique makes most of those sharp points happen when you aren’t looking!

The Zoom Class will take you from start to finish!  The pattern for the WALL sized quilt is included with your registration.  There are 7 options for taking it to a 99″ x 99″ QUEEN quilt.  Please email me for information on that prior to class!  ([email protected])  Pricing for the Queen Extension varies from $16 – $40 — depending upon the pattern you select.   I can help with additional fabric requirements to go from WALL to QUEEN.

The class begins with an information session and then with the second class we start sewing!  Times are CENTRAL TIME ZONE.

Info Session:  Wednesday, March 16  –  10:00 AM – 12:30 PM  (we’ll talk pattern, papers and fabrics and prep!)

Session #2:     Wednesday, April 6  – 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM (time to start sewing!)

Session #3:     Wednesday, April 13 – 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM (more sewing)

Session #4:     Wednesday, May 4 – 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM (more sewing – and introduce pre-assembly)

Session #5:     Wednesday, May 25 – 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM  (final assembly)

An open sew will be scheduled in early June (likely Saturday, June 4) – so stay tuned.  The Open Sew allows you to drop in and share your finished top or ask questions about anything Tequila Lime or Quiltworx!

Certified shops have a wide variety of kits available or color your own with Quiltster.  Or I can help you shop your stash (or your favorite shop) with a Quiltster consultation.

As always, all classes will be recorded and made available within approximately 48 hours after the live session.  Recordings remain available for several months after the live class sessions conclude.  There will also be a number of additional support videos to help you hone your Quiltworx Techniques.  And I’m only an email away until your quilt top is complete — whether that is June 2022, December 2022 or whenever!

Loved making my Fractured Star

I enjoyed the  Zoom classes with my guild!  I finally got my top done for Fractured Star and now I am  contemplating quilting it. Kathy is a great teacher and provides extra help when needed.

First Time! Signed up for More

This was my first Quiltworx pattern. Kathy made it easy & kept checking in with me after she got me started. Mistakes were easily corrected. I took considerably longer than the 2-6 hours but it came out really well.
