This book by Judy and Judel Niemeyer includes a number of patterns that utilize the Creative Grids Wave Ruler — which they designed!

The ruler can be used to create waved borders on any quilt — and works with blocks 12 inches and smaller.   Take even the most basic blocks — or even just a strip of fabric — and create a stunning quilt with ease.

Charm Elements used by these patterns are:

#10 – Large Star (8 pointed star)

#11 – Cactus Flower – (large)

#12 – Cactus Flower Blossom (Small)

#18 – Circling Goose

#19 – Diagonal Border Block

#21 – Wavy Goose

#22 – Wavy Spike (short)

#23 – Wavy Stars

#24 – Wavy Square

#25 – Wavy Spike (tall)

#26 – Wavy Sunrise

All blocks are straight edged so can be used in a variety of quilts — or use the Wave Ruler to convert them to wavy blocks.
