I am really glad that I got an opportunity to take the Summer Solstice class with Kathy. I have always admired Judy Niemeyer designs but got discouraged when I saw how many pages there were to the instructions for a single quilt.
Kathy was great at taking it in segments and working through the process to make it not seem like such a huge mountain to climb. She incorporates some of her own ideas/techniques that make the process even easier.
You won’t regret taking a class with her!

One bite at a time!
Loved the Twinkle Star class sponsored by our guild. She broke it down one bite at a time. Excellent instructor and excellent at demonstrating techniques. Patient and meets you where you are in the process. Excited to try another one!

I was all cut out for Friday’s class and it was because your video on cutting was PERFECT. For me, it was just the right mix of show and teachI can’t wait til next class. I really like your hybrid teaching concept with great in-person instruction, supplemented with videos shared before and available for review after the retreat. I think that is more of the way the future will look. Many traditional quilters like the in-person sessions, and I understand that. But those of us with jobs and kids and other responsibilities cannot afford to be away for long periods of time. While this was a table topper class, I did purchase a queen size pattern, so it was worth going thru the class versus doing something from videos only.

I took a zoom class for my Dinner Plate Dahlia from BobKat Quilts, It was a great series of classes. Kathy is a wonderful instructor who is always there for you. In addition to the interactive classes, the instructional videos online are so detailed and you can watch them over and over. I highly recommend her classes.
