Applique the Quiltworx Way Class
I took the class to learn a applique technique that did not utilize fusible. I did not expect to learn how to use tools in new innovation ways. This was a WONDERFUL class. Well worth the price!!

I was thrilled when I found this class for the Twinkle Star. I wanted to be introduced to Judy Niemeyer paper piecing and this was the perfect way to do it. I thought I was going to have to do it on my own, purchased a Twinkle Star quilt kit over a year ago and hadn’t gotten to it. I will hopefully have time in the future to take more classes! I was all cut out for Friday’s class and it was because your video on cutting was PERFECT. For me, it was just the right mix of show and teachI can’t wait til next class. I enjoyed the class today even though I wasn’t doing the actual Judy Niemeyer quilt that was being taught. My feedback is that I would like to have seen a little more of the actual stitching, especially doing the inside & outside points. I did have some interruptions on my side when you was talking about the threads to use & I’ll go back and watch that (the advantage of sharing the class recordings!) I did enjoy seeing the needle books, I will have to do that also.

Thank you for help. I loved the card you gave us for the steps on paper piecing. Quiltworx University was a large class, so I really appreciated all the times you came to my station to offer help and advice.
