Hi,
Just wanted to post a little note. I am very new to sewing and especially quilting. My friend, who lives in Indiana, asked me if I wanted to take a quilting class with her. So I did. Kathy was beyond fantastic. She is a true instructor who understands how not to overwhelm students who are trying to learn a new skill set. It was super fun, relaxing and I learned a lot. There were some very experienced quilters in the class who also learned a lot. Going again next year (2024) to Shipshewana! Thanks for a fun week.

Fantastic Teacher – I just signed up for another class!
I’m in Kathy’s Dinner Plate Dahlia Zoom class. I just signed up for the upcoming (March 2021) Coral Reef Zoom class as well! She’s a fantastic teacher. Clear and concise instructions and very helpful and patient.

I was all cut out for Friday’s class and it was because your video on cutting was PERFECT. For me, it was just the right mix of show and teachI can’t wait til next class. What a Great Class!
5 Stars on everything! She provided superb verbal descriptions of what we needed to do. Then she was calm, consistent and helpful as we worked through the process. I really felt supported. It was just a great class!
