I was thrilled when I found this class for the Twinkle Star. I wanted to be introduced to Judy Niemeyer paper piecing and this was the perfect way to do it. I thought I was going to have to do it on my own, purchased a Twinkle Star quilt kit over a year ago and hadn’t gotten to it. I will hopefully have time in the future to take more classes! Bali Star Wedding Ring table topper – Finished!
I finally found all the pieces that were packed away when the hurricane tore the roof off of the sewing room. It got very wet and had a little color bleed- but, that’ll be part of the memory! Once the building rebuild is completed, (slow going due to COVID and wide spread damages supply and demand) I plan to make the king size quilt in same pattern.

For the first time in over 9 years I finally know what to do and how to read Quiltworx pattterns! I owe it all to Kathy Groves and her BobKat Quilts zoom classes. I love the fact that if I didn’t understand all the instructions the first time around I can always review the recorded zoom class. I took a zoom class for my Dinner Plate Dahlia from BobKat Quilts, It was a great series of classes. Kathy is a wonderful instructor who is always there for you. In addition to the interactive classes, the instructional videos online are so detailed and you can watch them over and over. I highly recommend her classes.

First Time! Signed up for More
This was my first Quiltworx pattern. Kathy made it easy & kept checking in with me after she got me started. Mistakes were easily corrected. I took considerably longer than the 2-6 hours but it came out really well.

This was my first Quiltworx pattern. Kathy made it easy & kept checking in with me after she got me started. Mistakes were easily corrected. I took considerably longer than the 2-6 hours but it came out really well. I felt like I had the experience to tackle a more complex pattern. Now I am doing Pepperdish with Kathy. With her organization and clear explanations this has been a great experience!
