Great class, Can’t wait to take another!

She was very patient, she didn’t ‘over-teach’.  She’d let me try a new technique, but she would catch me before I made a serious mistake by asking me to explain what I was going to do next.   This really

Jungle Magnolia by Carmen Van Eck
What a terrific project this Jungle Magnolia was to make. I’ve been quilting for over 30 years, but this is truly the most challenging quilt I’ve ever made. I couldn’t have done it without your help. I’m so happy with

12 Days of Christmas – Southwest Style – Zoom Class Series

July 14, 2023 @ 10:00 am - 12:30 pm CDT

This fun set of digitized embroidery designs can be used to create a fun quilt, table topper/runner, napkins, mug rugs…  You are only limited by your creativity.

The class will include instruction on how to create “applique with your embroidery machine”.

Class fee includes the digitzed embroidery designs (and the SVG files if you have a cutting machine!).  In addition — the individual block designs can also be embroidered AND quilted at the same time — a great quilt as you go project!  Just add your sashing / borders and you’ll be practically finished!   We’ll work through together (and on camera) the process to use the included design files and YOUR fabrics to create these fun designs.  Once stitched out — we’ll create the quilt!

Special tools needed:

Stabilizer (l like tear-away – but your preferred will work, too)

Curved Handled Scissors – for applique by embroidery machine

Embroidery Threads

Class meets 3 times:  POSTPONED FOR NOW (My embroidery machine decided to act up and needs to visit the machine MD.)

This fall…  when I get my embroidery machine back!  🙁

Please check back — this is a super fun project.  You can also purchase the embroidery designs separately on my website as well.

I took Kathy’s online class – She was AMAZING!

I took her online class and she was amazing!  Everything I needed was listed in the preclass materials. Getting a front row seat (via Zoom) was great as was the ability to ask questions as we went along.

Definitely doing this again with Kathy.

I loved taking this class with Kathy. Having the ability to go back over the videos when I got stuck made it totally worth while. She shared so much information I was overwhelmed by the value from this class!  Not

Kathy to the Rescue!

Never shy of a quilting challenge, I purchased a kit and began working on my first Judy Niemeyer quilt, Dinner Plate Dahlia. Everything went smoothly except for one small unit mid-pattern that I could not get my head around. While
