I am really glad that I got an opportunity to take the Summer Solstice class with Kathy. I have always admired Judy Niemeyer designs but got discouraged when I saw how many pages there were to the instructions for a single quilt.
Kathy was great at taking it in segments and working through the process to make it not seem like such a huge mountain to climb. She incorporates some of her own ideas/techniques that make the process even easier.
You won’t regret taking a class with her!

All I can say, if you have the chance to see Kathy’s trunk show- you must! Her personality shines through and is only embellished by her quilting talent. Quiltworx patterns are more than a little overwhelming when you first read the instructions. I was a little nervous thinking of tackling one on my own and came across your ZOOM class. You are a very good teacher… kind and patient. There are some areas of the Quiltworx instructions that are not as clear as I would have liked them to be (adding the veins, is one example.) Your class added the extra know-how for a successful project. Thank You!
