Kathy came and gave a presentation at the Baytown Area Quilt Guild on Monday, April 5th, 2021.   What an excellent program she presented with so many lovely quilts. As program chair, I had so many compliments from our members saying they thoroughly enjoyed her talk and the amazing quilts she presented.

I had never tackled anything like the Dinner Plate Dahlia before.  I was really skeptical whether I could do it, but Kathy made it do-able.  I really appreciate not only Kathy’s help and instruction, but especially her support!  Great class, even better instructor! I met some really great classmates as well!

The Wedding Star  Table Topper on Zoom was an absolutely fabulous class! Kathy Groves is an outstanding instructor with excellent instructional skills; she is never rushed giving instructions. Moreover, Kathy is patient and very eager to help students. I have taken other classes from a QW certified instructor where I could not see or hear what the instructor was showing us. If, I or others asked questions were were blown off or the instructor told another student to see what we needed. I felt as though, Kathy valued her students! I will be taking more classes with Kathy. I find the Zoom classes superior to in shop classes because I can see, hear and replay the instructions.
