Kathy was extremely patient with the class sponsored by our guild since so many of us were first time paper-piecers. She did a great job of going through all the steps so no one was lost. I signed up for a second class with her already! My Poinsettia could not have turned out better. I love it!

The Wedding Star  Table Topper on Zoom was an absolutely fabulous class! Kathy Groves is an outstanding instructor with excellent instructional skills; she is never rushed giving instructions. Moreover, Kathy is patient and very eager to help students. I have taken other classes from a QW certified instructor where I could not see or hear what the instructor was showing us. If, I or others asked questions were were blown off or the instructor told another student to see what we needed. I felt as though, Kathy valued her students! I will be taking more classes with Kathy. I find the Zoom classes superior to in shop classes because I can see, hear and replay the instructions.

I enjoyed my quilt club’s 3 session zoom class. Zoom is a good way to give quilters continued access to classes during a time of social distancing,  and the pattern Kathy chose for our group was the perfect one for a Judy Neimeyer Zoom class. Kathy was well prepared and very helpful throughout the class. She knows JN pattern construction very well and also provided many useful quilting tips I can use on other projects.
