This was a great experience. I would never have had the nerve to try this on my own. When I first opened the pattern I almost said no way. The only thing that kept me from backing out was knowing we had a certified teacher. The best part for me was being able to watch the videos multiple times to be able to figure out what to do. As the point person for this group training, I can’t thank Kathy enough for all of the back and forth emails answering all of my questions.

I just finished the quilting fundamentals class. I am an average sewer for crafts/boho bags and some clothes. Was a little concerned I would be in over my head with my busy schedule. I absolutely loved this class, easy to understand and well explained!  The pace gave me time to practice my blocks and move on. Kathy is excellent (and it shows) in her teaching and presentations and she organizes  them in an easy and understandable class sessions.
My confidence is much higher now and  I’m ready for future projects.  Thank you Kathy!

Genesee Stars Quilt Guild had a workshop on April 20, 2018. She taught the Quiltworx pattern, Stormy Seas, and we had a wonderful day! She was patient with our questions, and offered followup help to finish the project. We would definitely have her come again. Thanks Kathy!
