Thank you for help. I loved the card you gave us for the steps on paper piecing. Quiltworx University was a large class, so I really appreciated all the times you came to my station to offer help and advice.
Do you like designing your own quilt blocks? or your own quilts? Do you see images online but can’t find the pattern — but think — I should be able to figure this out! Or maybe you have a pattern but would like to resize the blocks in it?
Unlock the magic of Electric Quilt Design Software! I’ll get you started with understanding the screen interface and navigation, designing basic blocks and quilts, adding your fabrics to the EQ Fabric stash and more! Don’t let this extraordinary tool go unused! Let me help you unlock the magic of EQ8.
Students should have EQ installed and activiated on their own computer. I suggest having a mouse for easier navigation within the software. For the Zoom class — it is helpful if you log in and view the class from a second device — so you can see and do at the same time! You will also receive supplemental handouts and “assisgnments” to challenge you to use your skills!
Classes are recorded so you can go back and review and practice long after the live class concludes. Look for the next class in the series coming later this fall. where we will look at more tools and explore creating applique designs!
Date: Sunday afternoon, August 13 from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Your help was greatly appreciated. Being a beginner paper piecer, you did a great job in helping me understand the steps.
I give Kathy a five star rating. Her class was very informative, and interesting. She shared lots of tips and tricks which will help me on future Judy Niemeyer quilts to come. Thank-you for all your help Kathy!
