I took Kathy’s online class – She was AMAZING!

I took her online class and she was amazing!  Everything I needed was listed in the preclass materials. Getting a front row seat (via Zoom) was great as was the ability to ask questions as we went along.

Couldn’t have done it without BobKat Quilts….

Finished my first JN quilt top last week. Go big or go home, right? I really couldn’t have done it without the guidance of BobKat Quilts online class. Now, I am hooked and have two more JN quilts planned!!

Cruising and Quilting: North to Alaska 2026!

July 5, 2026 - July 12, 2026

Holland America's Noordam

Has an ALASKA cruise been on your Bucket List?

Join us aboard Holland America’s NOORDAM

July 5-12, 2026

What could be better than quilting aboard a beautiful floating resort with a wonderful Quiltworx® Certified Instructor like me?

Join us for a fabulous week on board Holland America’s ms Noordam as we sail round trip out of Seattle, WA up to Alaska’s Inside Passage.  During the week, I will be offering classes on special techniques, tips and tricks on constructing a Quiltworx quilt.  If an Alaska cruise has been on your bucket list, this will be the perfect cruise for you!

Eagles spotted from the ship in Juneau!

Not only will you be able to quilt in our quilting room with plate glass windows, but you will visit one of the most pristine and incredible destinations on our planet.  From eagles soaring above, to amazing rivers of ice flowing down the valleys and reaching the icy cold waters of the Inside Passage, you could also see moose, bear, deer, Dahl sheep, dolphins AND whales

This will be my second cruise through Alaska’s inside passage. In August of 2016, I travelled with my husband, Bob and two of our three sons, Rob and Ryan, visiting many of these same ports.  I look forward to sharing this fantastic experience with you!

This ALL-INCLUSIVE package includes your use of one of our Brother sewing machines, cutting and ironing stations, small classes with lots of personal attention. We’ll have designated meeting space for our group onboard the ship, games and door prizes and a fabulous SWAG BAG valued at over $500 with all sorts of notions and goodies inside (including a tote bag, two Quiltworx patterns and fabric – (one wall quilt and one placemat pattern) along with a table runner pattern and fabric.  Along with a coffee and tea station, Holland America will also bring us cookies every day in our quilting room!   I will have an exclusive cruise quilt kit that will only be available to our cruise participants. (Details to follow.)  This package also includes a plate of chocolate covered strawberries delivered to your cabin on Embarkation Day AND a fun cocktail party one evening during our “Pajama Party”, not to mention the many other amenities, that are part of any Holland America Cruise!

Definitely doing this again with Kathy.

I loved taking this class with Kathy. Having the ability to go back over the videos when I got stuck made it totally worth while. She shared so much information I was overwhelmed by the value from this class!  Not
