Basic Supply Kit for New Quiltmakers

I’m excited about working with the 4H campers this summer.  If you are a beginner — here is a list of basic supplies needed in quiltmaking contained in this kit.  These are especially helpful if you have your own sewing machine.  All of these will be available in the classroom as well.

• Cutting Mat (12″ x 18″)
• Rotary Cutter (45mm) with 1 extra blade
• 8″ Fisker Scissors
• Quilting Rulers:
  • 6 1/2″ x 6 1/2″
  • 6 1/2″ x 12 1/2″
  • 12 1/2″ x 12 1/2″
• Sewing Machine Needles (70/10 – 5 pack)
• Straight Pins – (2″ – 100 count)
