For the first time in over 9 years I finally know what to do and how to read Quiltworx pattterns! I owe it all to Kathy Groves and her BobKat Quilts zoom classes. I love the fact that if I didn’t understand all the instructions the first time around I can always review the recorded zoom class. I enjoyed the class today even though I wasn’t doing the actual Judy Niemeyer quilt that was being taught. My feedback is that I would like to have seen a little more of the actual stitching, especially doing the inside & outside points. I did have some interruptions on my side when you was talking about the threads to use & I’ll go back and watch that (the advantage of sharing the class recordings!) I did enjoy seeing the needle books, I will have to do that also.

I just finished the quilting fundamentals class. I am an average sewer for crafts/boho bags and some clothes. Was a little concerned I would be in over my head with my busy schedule. I absolutely loved this class, easy to understand and well explained! The pace gave me time to practice my blocks and move on. Kathy is excellent (and it shows) in her teaching and presentations and she organizes them in an easy and understandable class sessions.
My confidence is much higher now and I’m ready for future projects. Thank you Kathy!
