I loved taking this class with Kathy. Having the ability to go back over the videos when I got stuck made it totally worth while. She shared so much information I was overwhelmed by the value from this class! Not just the three class sessions, but additional videos on specific skills and the PowerPoint slides — it was well worth the cost. I love her down to earth folksy names for various things like “the fluffy side” , “feet in the aisle”, “smiles and frowns”. Having the three class dates over six weeks was the perfect pace for me. It gave me enough time to keep going and I was able to complete the top two days after the last class. I will definitely be taking more of Kathy’s classes in the future!

I just attended a fabulous Quiltster Zoom Class with Kathy of BobKat Quilts. I had no idea how much you can do with Quiltster. It was a full 4 hour class with hands on training.
Kathy explained the software so clearly. I had just signed up for Quiltster and had not used it before. I like the zoom format because now I can go back to the recording and review at my own pace. I am looking forward to coloring some quilts!
If you want to learn more about Quiltster, I highly recommend this class!

You’ve taken the time to carefully put together and label everything I will need to complete this project along with some very helpful tips about applique and final placement onto the background. Can’t say enough about how fun, laid back, and informational this retreat has been! I can’t truly say I’m “bummed” about missing her next one because I’m going to Quiltworx (!!!) in October, but if it weren’t for that I’d be doing everything I could to be here. But that just means my seat is open for someone else! This retreat WILL fill up! If you have the time, you should be here — The value is phenomenal.

I would strongly recommend classes with Kathy!
Here we are in a time when we can’t meet in person and there is a learning curve for everyone, but Kathy took it on and was able to succeed. I know she will see everyone through in completing their various projects. Kathy obviously is very comfortable teaching any class. Suggestions for Zoom would be to pre-record just the instructions for the day, and then take questions and open up for sewing, where appropriate. I really appreciate the instructions in the separate videos that were given after the fact. I would pay for classes that aren’t interactive, but are just the recordings. I’m sure I will take part in future classes.
