Hi,
Just wanted to post a little note. I am very new to sewing and especially quilting. My friend, who lives in Indiana, asked me if I wanted to take a quilting class with her. So I did. Kathy was beyond fantastic. She is a true instructor who understands how not to overwhelm students who are trying to learn a new skill set. It was super fun, relaxing and I learned a lot. There were some very experienced quilters in the class who also learned a lot. Going again next year (2024) to Shipshewana! Thanks for a fun week.

Fantastic Teacher – I just signed up for another class!
I’m in Kathy’s Dinner Plate Dahlia Zoom class. I just signed up for the upcoming (March 2021) Coral Reef Zoom class as well! She’s a fantastic teacher. Clear and concise instructions and very helpful and patient.

I liked having the card with the step-by-step process you could have in front of you to refer back to. You were so helpful to those who were new to this process and very patient with them until it finally clicked.

Kathy is a great instructor with lots of patience, I really appreciate her availability in between classes for help! (We “faced-timed” to troubleshoot when I got stuck!) She always had a fix when I messed up.

Table Topper Finished! – King size planned!
Bali Star Wedding Ring table topper – Finished! I finally found all the pieces that were packed away when the hurricane tore the roof off of the sewing room. It got very wet and had a little color bleed- but,

Bali Star Wedding Ring table topper – Finished!
I finally found all the pieces that were packed away when the hurricane tore the roof off of the sewing room. It got very wet and had a little color bleed- but, that’ll be part of the memory! Once the building rebuild is completed, (slow going due to COVID and wide spread damages supply and demand) I plan to make the king size quilt in same pattern.
