I was thrilled when I found this class for the Twinkle Star. I wanted to be introduced to Judy Niemeyer paper piecing and this was the perfect way to do it. I thought I was going to have to do it on my own, purchased a Twinkle Star quilt kit over a year ago and hadn’t gotten to it. I will hopefully have time in the future to take more classes! She was very patient, she didn’t ‘over-teach’.  She’d let me try a new technique, but she would catch me before I made a serious mistake by asking me to explain what I was going to do next.   This really helped me understand the process.   She provided lots of little tips along the way… like how to remove the foundation paper without pulling out the stitches.

Quiltworx patterns are more than a little overwhelming when you first read the instructions. I was a little nervous thinking of tackling one on my own and came across your ZOOM class. You are a very good teacher… kind and patient. There are some areas of the Quiltworx instructions that are not as clear as I would have liked them to be (adding the veins, is one example.) Your class added the extra know-how for a successful project.  Thank You!
