I am really glad that I got an opportunity to take the Summer Solstice class with Kathy. I have always admired Judy Niemeyer designs but got discouraged when I saw how many pages there were to the instructions for a single quilt.
Kathy was great at taking it in segments and working through the process to make it not seem like such a huge mountain to climb. She incorporates some of her own ideas/techniques that make the process even easier.
You won’t regret taking a class with her!

I was all cut out for Friday’s class and it was because your video on cutting was PERFECT. For me, it was just the right mix of show and teachI can’t wait til next class. I have a Masters degree along with my Nurse Practitioner and have taken many college courses as well as Continuing Medical Education over the years. I have been telling my husband (who is a pulmonologist) how much I have learned from you already (only a couple of classes into the course) and how much I have enjoyed your classes. He commented that I have appeared very interested and happy about learning each time I have taken your class in this series.
It is obvious that you have taught before. You have a lot of clarity and seem to anticipate your student’s needs. It is obvious that you want things to go well and are very patient. Your follow up videos help break things down and reinforce class learning.
Looking forward to next weekends class and I have already registered for your Dinner Plate Dahlia course coming up.

Quitworx Class #5 and I still learned new tips!
Thank you for the marvelous Poinsettia class! This was my 5th Quiltworx retreat. I took the class to learn about Zoom. The added bonus was the several tips you gave us to make things a little easier!
