I really like your hybrid teaching concept with great in-person instruction, supplemented with videos shared before and available for review after the retreat.  I think that is more of the way the future will look.  Many traditional quilters like the in-person sessions, and I understand that. But those of us with jobs and kids and other responsibilities cannot afford to be away for long periods of time.  While this was a table topper class,  I did purchase a queen size pattern, so it was worth going thru the class versus doing something from videos only.

I have done a little paper piecing in the past and enjoyed it, but have learned so much from Kathy that future endeavors will be so much better! I love the fact that the classes were recorded enabling me to watch them after the fact when life got in the way. I can not recommend Kathy’s classes more highly!!!.

As an enthusiastic new quilter who has never been taught applique before, I highly recommend this zoom class. I avoided applique in my newbie years as a quilter.
Not anymore!! Thank you Kathy for taking the unknown applique technique and making it possible to do.
