Hi,
Just wanted to post a little note. I am very new to sewing and especially quilting. My friend, who lives in Indiana, asked me if I wanted to take a quilting class with her. So I did. Kathy was beyond fantastic. She is a true instructor who understands how not to overwhelm students who are trying to learn a new skill set. It was super fun, relaxing and I learned a lot. There were some very experienced quilters in the class who also learned a lot. Going again next year (2024) to Shipshewana! Thanks for a fun week.

Love the Flexibility of Zoom Classes
I’m glad I signed up for this class on Zoom. I work full time and may not be able to participate in all the live sessions. The videos are great so I can work at my own pace!

You’ve taken the time to carefully put together and label everything I will need to complete this project along with some very helpful tips about applique and final placement onto the background. I just finished the quilting fundamentals class. I am an average sewer for crafts/boho bags and some clothes. Was a little concerned I would be in over my head with my busy schedule. I absolutely loved this class, easy to understand and well explained! The pace gave me time to practice my blocks and move on. Kathy is excellent (and it shows) in her teaching and presentations and she organizes them in an easy and understandable class sessions.
My confidence is much higher now and I’m ready for future projects. Thank you Kathy!

I took a zoom class for my Dinner Plate Dahlia from BobKat Quilts, It was a great series of classes. Kathy is a wonderful instructor who is always there for you. In addition to the interactive classes, the instructional videos online are so detailed and you can watch them over and over. I highly recommend her classes.

For the first time in over 9 years I finally know what to do and how to read Quiltworx pattterns! I owe it all to Kathy Groves and her BobKat Quilts zoom classes. I love the fact that if I didn’t understand all the instructions the first time around I can always review the recorded zoom class. Kathy is an amazing instructor I hope to take many more zoom classes from her. KATHY PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DON’T EVER STOP ZOOMING!!!
