I was thrilled when I found this class for the Twinkle Star. I wanted to be introduced to Judy Niemeyer paper piecing and this was the perfect way to do it. I thought I was going to have to do it on my own, purchased a Twinkle Star quilt kit over a year ago and hadn’t gotten to it. I will hopefully have time in the future to take more classes! Can’t say enough about how fun, laid back, and informational this retreat has been! I can’t truly say I’m “bummed” about missing her next one because I’m going to Quiltworx (!!!) in October, but if it weren’t for that I’d be doing everything I could to be here. But that just means my seat is open for someone else!   This retreat WILL fill up!  If you have the time, you should be here —  The value is phenomenal.

I loved taking this class with Kathy. Having the ability to go back over the videos when I got stuck made it totally worth while. She shared so much information I was overwhelmed by the value from this class!  Not just the three class sessions,  but additional videos on specific skills and the PowerPoint slides —  it was well worth the cost. I love her down to earth folksy names for various things like “the fluffy side” , “feet in the aisle”, “smiles and frowns”. Having the three class dates over six weeks was the perfect pace for me. It gave me enough time to keep going and I was able to complete the top two days after the last class. I will definitely be taking more of Kathy’s classes in the future!
