I was thrilled when I found this class for the Twinkle Star. I wanted to be introduced to Judy Niemeyer paper piecing and this was the perfect way to do it. I thought I was going to have to do it on my own, purchased a Twinkle Star quilt kit over a year ago and hadn’t gotten to it. I will hopefully have time in the future to take more classes! Kathy came and gave a presentation at the Baytown Area Quilt Guild on Monday, April 5th, 2021.   What an excellent program she presented with so many lovely quilts. As program chair, I had so many compliments from our members saying they thoroughly enjoyed her talk and the amazing quilts she presented.

I loved the class.  I learned not to be so awed at the idea of the complex process and the many components to this quilt.  Kathy taught us to be methodical and follow the provided instructions. Kathy worked with us every step of the way and stepped in when we made mistakes. While I previously felt overwhelmed by this pattern, every step was broken down and there was success at each step along the way.
I had a fantastic two days.  I would take another class from Kathy without a moment’s hesitation!
