I appreciated all the personal help Kathy was to all of us and her flexibility to make our own projects. She gave some very helpful tips to make our quilts beautiful, as well as helping me to color it on Quiltworx. Kathy sent an instructional video –  Quiltworx 101 – prior to the workshop.  It was a great preview of how to read and use the Quiltworx patterns.   It would have been helpful to get the video farther in advance.

I did the Harboured Lighthouse quilt as a zoom class with Kathy. It was easy to follow along during the class. If I missed anything or wanted to recheck part it’s easy to watch the class again. Kathy is always available for questions and always got back to me quickly.

I really like your hybrid teaching concept with great in-person instruction, supplemented with videos shared before and available for review after the retreat.  I think that is more of the way the future will look.  Many traditional quilters like the in-person sessions, and I understand that. But those of us with jobs and kids and other responsibilities cannot afford to be away for long periods of time.  While this was a table topper class,  I did purchase a queen size pattern, so it was worth going thru the class versus doing something from videos only.
