Just finished up Kathy’s Zoom class for the Poinsettia Table Topper. I cannot express how happy I am, not only with the class experience for my first Judy project, but with my project overall. Kathy explains very well on how to do each piece. She is very patient and answers everyone’s questions until they get it. I highly recommend her classes for anyone, beginners and experienced quilters both will love it.

I enjoyed the class today even though I wasn’t doing the actual Judy Niemeyer quilt that was being taught. My feedback is that I would like to have seen a little more of the actual stitching, especially doing the inside

I enjoyed the class today even though I wasn’t doing the actual Judy Niemeyer quilt that was being taught. My feedback is that I would like to have seen a little more of the actual stitching, especially doing the inside & outside points. I did have some interruptions on my side when you was talking about the threads to use & I’ll go back and watch that (the advantage of sharing the class recordings!) I did enjoy seeing the needle books, I will have to do that also.

You’ve taken the time to carefully put together and label everything I will need to complete this project along with some very helpful tips about applique and final placement onto the background. Quiltworx patterns are more than a little overwhelming when you first read the instructions. I was a little nervous thinking of tackling one on my own and came across your ZOOM class. You are a very good teacher… kind and patient. There are some areas of the Quiltworx instructions that are not as clear as I would have liked them to be (adding the veins, is one example.) Your class added the extra know-how for a successful project. Thank You!

I really enjoyed our class in Shipshewana doing Zen Garden. I thought your teaching was right on. Loved all of your short cuts and tips so our projects would come out perfect. Even at home as I continue my project, I can use your tricks.
We really didn’t go thru the instruction book. I don’t know if that was a good thing or not. I certainly have had no problem following along now that I’m at home.
Lastly, I would like to know how you organize your instruction book(s). I know a lot of people use highlighters on certain instructions. How do you do it?

I have a Masters degree along with my Nurse Practitioner and have taken many college courses as well as Continuing Medical Education over the years. I have been telling my husband (who is a pulmonologist) how much I have learned from you already (only a couple of classes into the course) and how much I have enjoyed your classes. He commented that I have appeared very interested and happy about learning each time I have taken your class in this series.
It is obvious that you have taught before. You have a lot of clarity and seem to anticipate your student’s needs. It is obvious that you want things to go well and are very patient. Your follow up videos help break things down and reinforce class learning.
Looking forward to next weekends class and I have already registered for your Dinner Plate Dahlia course coming up.
