DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] \nDon’t miss your opportunity to be a part of our Spring 2027 Shipshewana Retreat where we’ll feature the newest\nQuiltworx Technique-of-the-Month: ARCADIA! \n[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]In September\, I was in Kalispell\, MT with Judy Niemeyer\, learning about this newest Quiltworx TOTM pattern. \nLike Jungle Magolia – there are a variety of options!  There three basic  size options for your pattern  (Wall 80×80\, Queen 99×99\, King 119×119) and then there piecing and coloring variations.   Many of these require different quantities of fabrics\, different templates are used and you need to have a sound understanding as you prepare to sew your quilt.  In addition\, there are beautiful applique components\, but for this pattern they are optional.  Do you want to add them?  Components are sold separately. \nThen there are the color ways…  Just look at some of the great colorways that are starting to circulate![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”20519″ add_caption=”yes” img_size=”full” alignment=”center” css_animation=”none”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_gallery images=”20520\,20385\,19416\,19415\,19412\,19413″ img_size=”300X300″ type=”image_grid”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The Colorstock Rainbow colorway shown above is built around 8 colors and there are 5 different shades of fabric for each color — that’s 40 fabrics (plus the neutrals) to be ordered and correctly placed on the quilt!  Fabric kits can help with the shopping\, but cutting and organizing still requires clarity and planning to get it right! (I know – I had to unsew a few of my units because I used the wrong shade of a fabric!)   Believe me when I say that any confident\, dedicated paper piecer can sew this great pattern.
