SUMMARY:BobKat's Autumn 2025 Shipshewana Retreat - Feeling Groovy!
DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””]Autumn is a wonderful time to visit Indiana’s Amish country.   Shipshewana is great place for quilters!  There are several massive quilt and fabric shops within walking distance of our retreat space at the Farmstead Inn\, and there are more than a dozen more with in a 20 minute radius.  We keep the participant group to less than 30.   I’m now doing both a Spring and an Autumn retreat and we’ve sold out the Spring retreat last two years. \nAs usual we’ll focus on Quiltworx projects and this year I’ve chosen some great patterns with a wide range of options including Feeling Groovy\, Hocus Pocus\, and Summer Solstice.  You can do them straight\, expand them to queen size or even give them a swirl!  See the examples below.  Of course you’re welcome to purchase another Quiltworx pattern at a discount or bring one that you’re already working on. SUMMARY:Shipshewana Spring 2025 - Quiltworx Technique of the Month Retreat

Lastly\, I would like to know how you organize your instruction book(s). I know a lot of people use highlighters on certain instructions. How do you do it? Again thank you for a great class. DESCRIPTION:Join me from April 25 – 29 at The Farmstead Inn in Shipshewana\, Indiana for five days of Quiltworx sewing!   \n\n\n \n\n\nWe’re featuring Carnival Flower\,  the newest technique of the month! You also have the option of working on other Quiltworx patterns.   We will open for set up Tuesday (exact time TBD).  Our Welcome and first instructional session will begin on Tuesday afternoon.    The sewing room will be open from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m Wed through Friday.  On Saturday\,  the Sewing room will be opened from 8 a.m. through 4 p.m.  We’ll have focused instruction  between 9:30 a.m. through 4:30.p.m.  Wed – Friday\, You may have noticed we’re also offering the Carnival Flower as a Zoom class\, beginning January 21.  If you register for the Carnival Flower  at the retreat  — you will also have access to the Zoom Course that begins in January.  All Carnival Flower registrants will have access to the recorded Zoom classes after the retreat concludes. \nWould you rather work on another Quiltworx pattern?  Let me know and I’ll  be happy to help you obtain the pattern of your choice at a 15% discount or you can bring your own.
