DESCRIPTION:Midnight Gala is more than a quilt pattern; it’s a celebration of seasonal beauty\, thoughtful design\, and the joy of craftsmanship. Whether you’re drawn to its geometry\, its evocative color story\, or the legacy of the Niemeyer family’s artistry\, this quilt is ready to become your next heirloom. \nThis quilt captures the essence of autumn with a rich\, spicy palette that evokes cinnamon sticks\, clove pods\, and steaming mugs of mulled apple cider. At its center lies a striking motif reminiscent of a sliced apple core\, radiating outward in symmetrical layers that invite both admiration and introspection.  As designed — pattern uses the Quiltworx Strip Set:  Apple Cider but you can take it in any direction you choose.  Let Quiltster allow you to play and help you see and realize your vision. \nQuilt measures 96″ x 96″ and can be expanded. \nClass will meet live for 5 sessions and in addition\, multiple sewing demonstration videos will be available.  Live sessions will be for checking in\, answering questions\, etc.  The sewing instruction will mostly be in the pre-recorded sessions.  From planning your colors\, to cutting your fabrics to sewing your units and then final assembly — you will have guidance and support from start to finish!  Class will remain accessible indefinitely. \nIntroduction to Pattern\, Fabrics\, etc…  Tuesday\, June 23rd – 10:00 AM – noon \nClass #2:  Tuesday\, June 30th – 10:00 AM – noon \nClass #3:  Tuesday\, July 21 – – 10:00 AM – noon \nClass #4:  Tuesday\, August 11 – 10:00 AM – noon \nClass #5:  Tuesday\, September 29 – 10:00 AM – noon  (subject to change) \nIdeally — you’ll have plenty of time to sew between sessions so you’ll be more than ready to assemble by the end of September! \nIn addition to FULL video support — I will be available by email\, phone or one-on-one Zoom calls — but always start with an email!  Be as detailed as possible with your questions and I will work with you to keep you sewing! \nChoose class only or with discounted pattern which retails for $120. \nEmail me at kathy@bobkatquilts.com if you have any questions!  I hope you’ll join me!

SUMMARY:ACADIA - Quiltworx TOTM Zoom Series
DESCRIPTION:ACADIA – the New QUILTWORX TECHIQUE OF THE MONTH QUILT PATTERN! \nThe basic pattern – Acadia – will finish at 80″ x 80″.  The KING or QUEEN of ACADIA will be available as well!!   (Queen of Acadia 99″ x 99″ and King of Acadia approx 118″ x 118″)  “Rumor has it” that you  will be able to take either your WALL or QUEEN pattern to King with an Extension set! \nThis looks to be such fun!  Don’t you love the border piecing.  Applique will be optional with this pattern — more details will be available later in the year.  But the base pattern will not include the applique — so YOU can decide if you want to add it! \nI can’t wait until Fall!  I’ll be in Kalispell in October sewing my quilt!   \nThe Zoom Series will include 6 live sessions and many\, many\, recorded videos avaiable so you can watch (and rewatch) and sew when it is convenient for you to do so. Our live sessions will introduce the individual Pattern Groups\, highlight they techniqiues you will be using\, identify any potential trouble spot to be aware of and to answer any and all questions you might have.  Videos will include cutting fabrics for each group as well as applique techniques. \nAs always — if you take my Zoom Class — I’m there for you until your top is complete — not until the series ends.  And the videos will remain accessible long after the live sessions conclude. \nLive Class Dates are: \nSaturday\, January 23 – 10:00 AM — an introduction to the pattern.  No sewing — but learn all the ins and outs\, the options\, the papers\, the groups\, the fabrics and so much more.  No sewing – -this is just the opportunity for you to wrap your head around the pattern and all that will be required of you as you sew your quilt. \nAll classes are SATURDAYS and will begin at 10:00 AM CENTRAL.  Subsequent dates are: \nFebruary 13th\, March 13th\, April 3rd\, May 15th and June 12th.  After that — I’m only an email away for answers and support as needed. \nReserve your spot today with a refundable deposit.  Or join me in Shipshewana April 13 – 18th for a live retreat — and have the full Zoom series included with your retreat registration!
