SUMMARY:Carnival Flower - Zoom Class - Register Now!
DESCRIPTION:We had a great intro class on Jan 21\, but you can still join – Register today\, you can watch the recorded classes and be ready for our next class!\n\nNOTE:  it’s not too late to join us!  While we may have held a class or two — they are fully recorded and the schedule gives you lots of time to “catch up”.  Many students didn’t even receive their fabric kits until late February!  I’m always available for questions…  so if you are on the fence thinking “maybe it’s too late — NOPE!  Join us!   \n*********************************************************************************************************************************************************** \nThe two quilts – Wall (80″ x 80″) and the Queen (99″ x 99″) include all of the techniques that make Quiltworx special!  From their newprint Template Layout Sheets for fabric prep\, to ALL of the sewing foundations — not to mention their detailed and graphics intensive written instructions which make their quilts do-able by everyone — even confident beginners! \nThe Zoom Series (like all of my classes) will be recorded so you will have access to all instruction and teaching support materials for MANY months after the live class sessions conclude.  And you receive my guarantee to be available for questions and support until your quilt top is finished! \nThe first class session will be a general introduction to the pattern and the class series.  It will be my goal to help you understand all of the quilt’s components\, where each of the fabrics go\, how to prepare your papers\, cut and organize your fabrics and much more.  I’ll even provide fabric and bag labels to help you get organized. \nClasses will be on ZOOM live but recordings will be available 24-48 hours after each live session.  And look for the additional technique support videos! \nClass #1 —Introduction session met on Saturday\, January 21 – Recorded for new registrants and review. \nClass #2 –  Saturday\, February 18 from 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM (lots of time between #1 and #2 to get organized\, purchase fabrics\, etc!!) \nClass #3 – Saturday\, March 18 from 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM \nClass #4 – Saturday\, April 1 from 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM (no foolin’ !) \nClass #5 – Saturday\, April 22\, from 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM \nClass #6 – Saturday\, May 20 from 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM \nClass #7 – Saturday\, June 3 from 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM \nClass #8 – Saturday\, July 15 from 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM \nI’ve spread things out quite a bit to allow lots of sewing time so that hopefully by the time class ends you will have your quilt nearly completed!  That’s the goal but if it doesn’t work out that way — no problem!  Sew as you can and the videos will be there to support you as needed. \nMy fee will include the pattern — DISCOUNTED approximately 15% off retail!  So if you are purchasing a kit — I suggest you purchase fabric only – so you can save a few $$ on the pattern.  But if you have the pattern — you can purchase just the instruction.  Note:  final pattern prices are higher than anticipated — so those already registered\, you’re good!  But I’ve had to adjust the pricing going forward.  Sorry for the confusion. \nDeposits are refundable up through December 15\, 2022.  Payment in full is due by January 10th (and must be received before your pattern will be shipped).  I will invoice for balances due in Mid December – I’ll need to know  your pattern size preference.  Patterns will not ship until early 2023 (as soon as I can get them in from Quiltworx!) \n  \nSpecial Notice: \nWe are also offering an in-person retreat in Shipshewana\, Indiana April 25 – April 29  featuring Carnival Flower!  Register  and pay for the Carnival Flower version of the retreat by January 20 and get this zoom class free.   Click here for more  information

SUMMARY:Goodnight Star by Quiltworx - Zoom Class Series
DESCRIPTION:The Goodnight Star layout includes foundation papers to make (24) 16″ quarter lone star blocks for a quilt that finishes at 96″ x 96″. \nIt is a good introduction to Quiltworx patterns as it is basically a one-block quilt — and you’ll learn Judy’s Strip Piecing Technique for Lone Stars — a component in many of her quilts.  In addition\, you’ll learn many other Quiltworx techniques — from using the newsprint papers in  your pattern\, reading her instructions\, organizing and cutting your fabrics to name a few.   Quiltworx Stripsets will work beautifully for this quilt — but for Goodnight Star — each diamond will require one more fabric — suggested is a DARK blender of each colorway from your strip set.  (I have lots of strip sets available — check them out!) \nLooking for a smaller project — the StarBaby pattern is a great option to learn the techniques without the same investment in time\, fabric and money.  You’ll learn almost all of the same techniques — but in a fun baby\, table or wall sized project. \nClasses are taught live but recorded for your convenience.  If Tuesdays aren’t good for you — then watch the recording in the evening or on the weekends.  Either way — I’m available to you from registration through your last stitch – whether it is soon after the class concludes or months (and months) down the road. \nClass dates:  (all live classes begin at 10:00 AM Central Time) \n \nQuiltworx 101 – pre-recorded introduction to Quiltworx Patterns / Projects – on your own \nIntro Session: –  January 10 – learn all about the project(s) — from the pattern details\, papers and fabrics required. \nPrep & Fabric Cutting Session — pre-recorded so you can access as you are preparing your papers and fabrics \nSession #2:  January 24 — we will orgainze our Lone Star Fabrics and then start Phase 1 of the sewing of these \nSession #3:  February 14 — Phase 2 of the Lone Star Diamond Blocks — putting your Diamond Strip Sets back together again \nSession #4:  February 28 —  Assemblying your quilt top! \nThis quilt goes together so quickly you’ll want to make 2!  For those doing StarBaby — You’ll attend the same sessions — but will have much less sewing between classes.  Once you have learned this technique — dozens of Quiltworx quilt patterns are ready and waiting for you including:  Zen Garden\, Prismatic Star\, Rainbow Crystal\, Tattered Star\, Sparkle and many more!  And this is a fundamental component of many other quilts.  So join me and put another Quiltworx Technique in your Quilting Tool Box! \n

DESCRIPTION:Do you love making Quiltworx quilts — but are overwhelmed at the thought of designing your own?  Getting a headache trying to imagine how it might look if you swap this color or that color and then understanding how to integrate your choices with your pattern?  Calculating how much fabric to buy!  It’s totally overwhelming!!! \nLet’s change that!\nJoin me in this 3 hour Zoom Class where you will learn how to choose your pattern\, add your own fabrics or choose from Judy’s palettes\, place your colors into your quilt\, print the necessary documentation or even use the Marketplace to buy your fabrics and design YOUR quilt!  QUILTSTER is an amazing tool and you’ll have fun designing your quilts and realizing how easy it can be to point-and-click your way to your own personal Quiltworx Quilt!  From standard Quiltworx patterns to creating your own MIXER — you’ll be ready to play (and play and play some more) on Quiltster.  You do NOT need to be a highly-skilled computer user — the software is very user friendly and you’ll be a pro in no time at all. \nYou can join the class and just watch — but I strongly encourage you to register for Quiltster for yourself  so you can work in your own account.  Sign up for just 1 month to get you started and to be able to follow along in class “hands on…”  – the best way to learn.  You can choose to continue your subscription having fun playing with Quiltster Color and Quilt design.  Love it?  You can save money by purchasing their annual subscription  ( Note: to have access to the cloud-based Quiltster program\, you need to subscribe directly with Quiltworx / Quiltster.   Again it’s a month to month subscription\, you can drop any time\,  with a discount for a year long subscription.  https://www.quiltster.com/subscribe ) \nQuiltster is cloud based and you can participate on your computer\, tablet or smart phone.  For class\, you may want to consider using 2 devices — one for Zoom to see what I’m doing and hear what I’m saying — and the larger screened device with Quiltster so you can work at full screen capacity.  If you are using a computer — you may want a good old-fashioned mouse to make placing your fabrics a little easier — not necessary – but helpful.  Chrome is the preferred browser — so if you are on a tablet with Safari as your sole browser — you may want to install Chrome.  It is free. \nWant to learn more?  We offered this class previously and it received rave reviews.  Learn how to work from your stash\, design your own unique Mixers\, create “rainbow” quilts and so much more!!

SUMMARY:Twinkle Star - A Great Introduction to Paper Piecing and Quiltworx Patterns
DESCRIPTION:Twinkle Star is a great introductory pattern for learning the Judy Niemeyer approach to paper pieced patterns\, essential paper piecing tools and tips\,  cutting and preparing foundation papers\, fundamental paper piecing processes\, curved piecing\, floating points. and lone star units.  The pattern includes three distinct groups that combine to create a stunning 38″ x 38″ quilt that goes together very quickly.   I’ve taught this pattern in several in-person guild retreats\, to rave reviews\,  because there is so much great learning in a manageable and affordable package!  If you’re looking for an “on-ramp” to the world of Judy Niemeyer and Quiltworx\, it doesn’t get better than this!  No previous paper piecing or quilting experience is necessary! If you can use a rotary cutter & a ruler and sew a straight line\, you have the skills to tackle this course! \nA Versatile Design\nLike many of our favorite quilts\, your choice of color way can create a wide variety of looks.  Experienced quilters may want to use this project to practice their design and color-way skills!    This small sampling of Twinkle Star designs I snagged from the Quiltworx Facebook page gives you just a little taste  of  the potential of this pattern. \n \n \nFor those who want to experiment\, Twinkle Star is Quiltster compatible\, meaning that you can plan your Twinkle Star with your colors and fabrics using the online Quiltster digital quilt planner.  (I’m offering a great online tutorial on how-to-use Quiltster in January – click for more information!) \nOnline Classes  – In your sewing room –  On your schedule. \nI offer my classes on Zoom\,  an online platform that will allow you to see and hear my lessons live on a smartphone\, tablet\, or laptop or desktop computer.(Or if you have a conflict — catch the recorded class at your convenience.)   Once you have registered for your class\, (from the link below)  you just need your device and access to the Internet\,  you don’t need to purchase any software or pay for any other services to participate in our Zoom class.  By the way\, you don’t have to be a geek to use it. I will send you a web link for each class and you click the link at the scheduled time to participate in the class. That’s it!  If you’re worried about the technical aspects\, I’ll even schedule a time where we can chat and I’ll help you get logged on to Zoom on your device. \n \n  \nMany of our past participants prefer Zoom classes because you don’t have to pack up your machine\, and lug your material and tools to a shop or meeting room for classes.  It all happens in the comfort of your own sewing space!   I use multiple cameras so you have a front row view whether I’m explaining an illustration in the pattern booklet or showing you how to feed a finicky piece through the sewing machine.  If you have questions during the class\, it’s live and interactive – ask questions\, ask for a closer look or show us your progress — all live!   And here’s the bonus… I record the classes and make them available for several months.  If you have to miss a live class\, you can review the recording at your leisure.  If you’re having problems with a particular technique\, just retrun to that part of the video and watch that section again!   Plus I include additional technique specific videos to help you master those techniques.   Because things happen\, and life gets in the way of sewing (I hate that!)\, I’ve had a number of quilters complete my classes by only watching the recordings and an occasional phone call or question over text or chat.  So don’t let the class schedule limit your participation.   You will be provided access to all materials\, including the class recordings for months after the class ends.   My exclusive BobKat Quilts guarantee is that I’m with you until you finish your project.   If you have a question\, I’m available to you by chat\, email or call  (even a 1-on-1 Zoom session) until you finish your quilt (even if the formal classes ended weeks ago)! \nWant to know what others think of our classes?  Go to the home page of this site and scroll down the page for a slide show of nearly 100 testimonials from other quilters. \nClass Schedule\nThis project class is bargain priced so you can give paper piecing a try.  If you are already a paper piecer — you are still welcome to join us! \nWednesday\, February 16 – 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM (Central Time) \nWednesday\, February 23 – 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM \nWednesday\, March  2 – 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM \nWednesday\, March 9 – 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM \nClass fee includes pattern\, all instruction (videos will remain available for months after the live class concludes) which includes both live class sessions and additional technique videos.  Plus my BobKat Guarantee — which means I’m here for your until your quilt top is complete!!  Whenever that is! \nWhat you get: \n\n12 hours of instruction (plus several hours of additional support videos!)\nYour Pattern (retail value $27)\nSupport and assistance from start to your last stitch!

SUMMARY:Sulky Village - Paper Pieced Wall Quilt - Zoom Class
DESCRIPTION:Join me and learn the process for intricate paper piecing.  This is NOT a Quiltworx pattern.  It is a free pattern from Sulky International.  Class fee is for INSTRUCTION ONLY and the support information I will prepare for you. \nThis fun quilt will require you to raid your scraps!  Make your village in Brights\, Christmas Fabrics\, Reproduction Fabrics\, Tula or Kaffe or whatever you can imagine.  Each month you will receive the information you need to tackle 1 or 2 new blocks — so that by the last class — you’ll be ready to put your parts together. \nQuilt finishes at 33″ x 40″ — but you can make more houses\, add borders… and just go wild to make your quilt the size you wish!  Each block is made up of several individual paper pieced components.  Make the components and then join them together to create your building.  Some buildings have nearly 100 patches — and the “block” is only 7″ x 9″ for example! \nWe will not be doing a lot of sewing in class after our first class — but I will introduce each building.  We’ll talk about colors and fabric placement.  We’ll discuss the techniques for paper piecing itty-bitty little pieces of fabric.  I’ll be ready to answer all of your questions. \nClass meeting dates are the 2nd Tuesdays of the month.  All classes will be recorded — so if that time doesn’t work for you — just watch at your convenience.  And as always — when you take a class with me — my help is there until your top is completed! \nTuesday\, February 8: – 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM (Intro – How to’s:  organizing\, technique options\, and more ) \nTuesday\, March 8:  –  10:00AM – 11:30 AM  Block #1 — and Paper Piecing Basics \nTuesday\, April 12:   –  10:00 AM – 11:30 AM   Blocks 2 & 3 \nTuesday\, May 10:  –    10:00 AM – 11:30 AM  Blocks 4 & 5 \nTuesday\, June 14:  –   10:00 AM – 11:30 AM   – Blocks 6 & 7 \nTuesday\, July 12:  –  10:00 AM – 11:30 AM  – Blocks 8\, 9 and 10 \nTuesday\, August 9:  –  10:00 AM – 11:30 AM  – Assembly & Finishing \nPattern can be downloaded free at:  https://sulky-shop.de/SULKY-Village-BOM-2004/A-100003 – but is written in German with measurements in cm’s instead of inches!  I’ll be translating the information to English for you –  and have all  you need to successfully create each block and your quilt.  ( Once registered — if you need help acquiring the pattern\, I can help.)  I’ll be creating coloring diagrams for you — so you can easily design your blocks fully before sewing them.   $99 per person will get you help from start to finish! \nSupply and fabric information will be available early January 2022. SUMMARY:Paradise in Blooms - Quiltworx Pattern - Zoom Class
DESCRIPTION:Introduced in 2015 – PARADISE IN BLOOMS – is a favorite of many Quiltworx quilt makers!  This gorgeous quilt can be finished in two sizes:  Wall (76” x 76”) or Queen (97” x 97”).    With a touch of appliqué\, this Technique of the Month quilt will allow you to learn many of those techniques that make Quiltworx patterns special.  And because of those techniques — like all Quiltworx quilts — anyone with the confidence to start — I’ll make sure you can finish! \nThis pattern (at this time) is NOT Quiltster compatible. ☹  But I can work with you to identify the units and fabric ID’s so if you can visualize your quilt – you’ll know exactly what you need in the way of fabrics to make it. And I can help with the FABRIC ID’s so you can integrate it with your pattern.   You would want to purchase a “PIB Color Consultation” – but understand that we will NOT be working within the Quiltster software – but within the outlines and tables that I will have drawn up.  I will also provide a “coloring page” that you can print out\, grab your colored pencils\, and design away. \nDO NOT LET THE APPLIQUÉ  make you steer clear of this pattern.  Judy’s appliqué  technique is very beginner friendly.  I will help you master the art of appliqué  on your domestic machine OR you can use your embroidery machine with the digitized designs that are sold separately. \nMark your calendars now.  The plan will be to introduce the quilt in November\, meet once in December to address fabrics\, cutting\, bagging…  — all the things you need to know to get ready.  We’ll address the one major section the QUEEN quilt makers might want to get a head start on.   Then we will all enjoy the holidays.  Come January\, we will start meeting regularly over the next 3 months.  As always\, classes will be recorded and made available for many months after the class concludes.  So you can’t miss a thing! \nAnd don’t forget the BobKat Guarantee – “I’m here for you until your quilt top is complete!”  Period!   email\, text\, phone or even a 1-on-1 zoom.  I will help get you to the finish line! \nSo sign up today to reserve your spot!  Then sit back and relax until late summer when you’ll hear back from me to get you started on your quilt planning!  Questions?  Just email me at kathy@bobkatquilts.com! \nIn the meantime – check out all of the great classes we have going all spring and summer! \nAll Classes are CENTRAL TIME:  (I sometimes run long — but we’ll do what it takes to make sure everything you need to know to continue is covered!) \nSaturday\, November 6 — 10:00 – Noon  (general pattern intro / info) \nSaturday\, December 18 — 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM (fabrics/cutting/bagging and more) \nHOLIDAYS  — ENJOY \nSaturday\, January 8 – 10:00 AM – 12: 30 PM \nSaturday\, January 22 – 10:00 AM – 12: 30 PM \nSaturday\, February 5 – 10:00 AM – 12: 30 PM \nSaturday\, February 19 – 10:00 AM – 12: 30 PM \nSaturday – March 19 – 10:00 AM – 12: 30 PM \nSaturday – March 26 – 10:00 AM – Noon \nAs always — class fee INCLUDES the pattern — but if you have it already — just email me and I’ll invoice you for the instruction portion only.  FYI:  Patterns are included at a discount!

SUMMARY:Dinner Plate Dahlia Zoom Class
DESCRIPTION:Grow Your Own Dahlia!\nYou have seen these beautiful quilts filling the pages of Facebook\, Instagram and Pinterest!  In the world of Judy Neimeyer and Quiltworx\,  the Dinner Plate Dahlia is one of six “Technique of the Month” patterns which are only available from  Quiltworx Certified shops or as a part of a Quiltworx Certified Instructor’s course — like this one!   Did you know that these heirloom wonders are truly patterns that with proper instruction even a beginning  quilt maker can make?  And I would love to be that instructor and help you every step of the way to  grow your Dahlia and watch it bloom! \nBobKat’s Unique Online Courses\nI’ve taught this course in person to dozens of quilters in traditional classrooms but now I’ve developed a complete system to teach this class online and to help you successfully complete this stunning quilt!   Join me and I will teach you everything you need to know – from the minute you register until your quilt top is complete.   I’ll be with you every step of  this incredible journey.    \n If you haven’t ventured onto Zoom yet — I’ll make sure you are comfortable with the teaching platform.    Then if you are new to Quiltworx (or even if you are not!)\, I’ll make sure you understand the Quiltworx approach\, the patterns and how to prepare for your first day of class.   I can even help you visualize and select the colors and their placement in your quilt so that your Dahlia will be the colors and fabrics YOU love and you’ll know exactly what it will look like before you sew your first stitch! I will provide you the detailed fabric shopping list– or I can help you find the perfect resource to purchase your fabrics in a prepared kit.  Any needed notions / supplies can be purchased from BobKat’s online shop at a class discount!  It’s true….   you CAN create the Dinner Plate Dahlia of your dreams! \nThe Best Seat in the Room…\nBecause classes are on the interactive  ZOOM platform – there is no packing up. No traffic.  No lugging your machine in the rain\, cold or snow.   No travel – no hotel bills!  You will be in your own bed every night. No worrying about social distancing or health risks.  You will work from your own sewing room and have all your tools set up the way you like available to you.  You can attend in your jammies with your coffee or Coke right next to your machine where it always sits!  Unlike typical online classes where you can only watch – with ZOOM you watch\, listen\, ask questions AND get answers right then and there.   All sessions are recorded so you can go back and revisit them as needed.  Unlike a typical classroom where students huddle around the instructor during demonstrations where you wrangle to get a good view – EVERYONE has the same perfect view.  I utilize multiple camera angles as well as PowerPoint and graphics to make sure you have the perfect look at exactly what you need to see to understand what it is you need to do. From lectures – to cutting to pressing to sewing – you’ll have the perfect view every time. \nCourse Schedule\nBeginning on  the morning of August 28th where we’ll start with an Introduction to the Dinner Plate Dahlia  Quilt.   Tere will be an Introduction to Quiltworx patterns – so whether this is your first “Judy quilt” or  you are an experienced paper piecer\, I’ll review how to “read the pattern”\, understand and prepare your papers\, understand the terminology\, and the tools.  Amd most importantly — understand how Quiltworx patterns make it easy to keep it all organized!!!  You’ll be ready to start growing your Dahlia!  You’ll have a few weeks to get organized\, enjoy the “the end of the summer” and then we will get going… by sewing!   In each session\, I will introduce and demonstrate the techniques you will need to keep sewing\, and progressing on your project between classes. You will have time in class to get started to make sure you understand what you need to do – but homework between Zoom sessions will allow you to make great progress through the class and by the last class you can be beginning the assembly of your quilt!    \nClass Dates are as follows: (All times are CST!)\n\nGetting Started:   Zoom Intro and Introduction to Quiltworx Patterns – Saturday\, August 28 – 10:00 – noon.\nDahlia Session #1 – Saturday September 18  – 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM\nDahlia Session #2 – Saturday October 2 – 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM\nDahlia Session #3 – Saturday October 16 – 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM\nDahlia Session #4 – Saturday October 30 – 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM\nDahlia Session #5 – Saturday November 13 – 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM\nDahlia Session #6 – Saturday November 20– 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM\nQuiltworx Students’ Finishing Session  – Saturday\, December 4 – time TBD  (open to all BobKat’s Quiltworx students)\n\nThere is time built into the schedule to allow you to do quite a bit of sewing during class time  on your own – so that the Dahlia Session #6 and the Quiltworx Finishing session will allow you to put your quilt together with Kathy’s guidance and support.   \nDon’t forget — my guarantee to you is that I will be available via email\, phone or video chat until your top is complete!  If you get stuck or forget what you need to do — I’m here to support you and get you moving forward again. \nWhich Dahlia are you going to grow? \nDinner Plate Dahlia is available in 2 sizes.  The Wall size is 80” x 80” and the Queen Size is 99” x 99”.   The full Quiltworx quilt pattern for the size you select  is included in your class fee. \n \nI hope you’ll plan to join me!  A new Technique of the Month pattern was released early in 2021 so you may not see many Dahlia class options for a while!  But you will have plenty of time to finish your beautiful Dinner Plate Dahlia and be ready to join me next spring to sew your next Quiltworx Heirloom Quilt (maybe the Coral Reef?) \nYour course fee includes: \n\nThe Full Quiltworx Dinner Plate Dahlia Pattern\nQuiltworx 101 – introductory pre-recorded video\nAt least 15 hours of class instruction by a Quiltworx Certified Instructor\nA special class opportunity to help you assemble and finish your quilt\nPersonal support and followup until your Dahlia is complete\n\nNote: Select your ticket for this course based on your pattern choice! \nRemember\, the pattern is included in price of the course.  (already have your pattern?  Then message me and I can invoice for the instruction only which is $300 — patterns are discounted approximately 25%.)\n\n\nWall Size – $375\n\n\nQueen Size  – $390\n\n\nPurchase your ticket below today\nA deposit of $75 will hold your seat.  Deposits are refundable through July 15\, 2021 — after that time you will receive a credit toward a future class.  Balance is due before 7/31 to insure ample time to get your pattern to you. \nQuestions?  email me at kathy@bobkatquilts.com \nA Special Option\nSimplify your planning and fabric shopping  for this project.  Purchase our $25 Quiltster Consultation and I’ll help you visualize up to three options with your color choices and fabrics.  We can start with your stash or your favorite colors and fabrics.  The process  will generate a color print-out of your design and will give you a detailed shopping list for your favorite shop or  I can connect you with a Certified Quiltworx Shop who will use your customized Quiltster report to assemble your personalized fabric kit.   This Quiltster Consultation is a separate purchase from our store.  We will schedule a one hour appoint for your consultation ideally at least one month before Class 1\, to allow you plenty of time to secure your fabric. \n  \nNOTE – To change the number of Tickets or Registrations you wish to order click the small “-” or “+” signs in the left and right of the number below

SUMMARY:Quiltster - Quiltworx Design Software - a Zoom Class
Again it’s a month to month subscription\, you can drop any time\,  with a discount for a year long subscription.  https://www.quiltster.com/subscribe ) \nQuiltster is cloud based and you can participate on your computer\, tablet or phone. Check out this 6 minute preview of the this three hour class!   We offered ran it twice last year to rave reviews. (This video refers to the “upcoming December class\, but the content for our May class will be nearly identical! \nClick to watch this 6 minute preview! \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \nI look forward to seeing you in class as we ZOOM our way into our own CUSTOM “Judy” quilts. \nNOTE – To change the number of Tickets or Registrations you wish to order click the small “-” or “+” signs in the left and right of the number below

SUMMARY:Quiltster - Quiltworx Design Software - a Zoom Class
DESCRIPTION:Do you love making Quiltworx quilts — but are overwhelmed at the thought of designing your own?  Getting a headache trying to imagine how it might look if you swap this color or that color and then understanding how to integrate your choices with your pattern?  Calculating how much fabric to buy!  It’s totally overwhelming!!! \nLet’s change that! \nJoin me in this 3 hour Zoom Class where you will learn how to choose your pattern\, add your own fabrics or choose from Judy’s palettes\, place your colors into your quilt\, print the necessary documentation or even use the Marketplace to buy your fabrics and design YOUR quilt! Love it?  You can save $$ by purchasing their annual subscription  ( Note: to have access to the cloud-based Quiltster program\, you need to subscribe directly with Quiltworx / Quiltster.   Again it’s a month to month subscription\, you can drop any time\,  with a discount for a year long subscription.  https://www.quiltster.com/subscribe ) \nQuiltster is cloud based and you can participate on your computer\, tablet or phone. It is free. \nI look forward to seeing you in class as we ZOOM our way into our own CUSTOM “Judy” quilts. \nNOTE:  The Coral Reef Quilt will NOT be available in Quiltster until the pattern is released in early 2021.  But  you can learn how to use Quiltster now so you can be ready when it comes online!!!

SUMMARY:Dresden Neighborhood for the Holidays
DESCRIPTION:Who’s Over My Neighborhood?\nIsn’t this a fun holiday quilt? It’s fast\, too! And other than the background – you probably have plenty of fabrics in your stash or scrap bin to construct your neighborhood!  A fusible appliqué project – it will go faster than you can imagine. And Santa and the reindeer will come with your pattern – pre-fused and pre-cut! I also will have kits available  precut / pre-fused (fabrics similar but not exactly matching the image or in your seasonal request). All you will need to add is your background fabric!  This is a fun quilt and you could easily adapt it to Halloween or leave the sky blue\, add a waving flag and make it a patriotic neighborhood.  When you discover how easy these fun quilts are to make – and how quickly they go together… you’ll want to make several for gifts! And they are easy to quilt on your domestic machine – a simple stitch in the ditch around the applique – you’ll be able to finish them without needing the services of a long arm quilter! \nBobKat’s Unique Online Courses\nJoin me and I will teach you everything you need to know – from the minute you register until your quilt top is complete.
