DESCRIPTION:Looking for a fun quilt?  Are you new to foundation paper piecing?  This is a great option because you’ll learn the fundamentals of Quiltworx patterns (like cutting / organizing)\, the basic paper piecing techniques and even how easy curved piecing can be!  This is a “1 block” quilt — so once you master that block — you just make a few more of them!   \nClass is hosted by Honey Bee Quilt Store in Austin\, Texas.  Class will meet on 2 days – back-to-back!  So you only need to load up once!  Classes meet from 10:30 AM – 4:30 PM on Wednesday\, April 2 and Thursday\, April 3\, 2025. \nAs always — a pre-class video will help you arrive ready to sew!  And video support after the class concludes ensures your quilt will be finished!  Quilt pattern as designed finishes at 48″ x 54″ but could easilly be enlarged!  Just email me to ask how! \n  \nVisit https://www.honeybeequiltstore.com/ to register or email me for more information.

DESCRIPTION:Does sewing curves make you uneasy?  Well\, by the time  you finish this project you’ll be a pro! \nUtilizing specialized acrylic templates\, each fabric piece is precisely cut and then you sew them together.  To be honest — it was harder to cut the fabrics than to sew them together!  LOL \nJoin me at Honey Bee Quilt Store in Austin\, Texas on Thursday\, April 17 from 10:30 AM – 4:30 PM and learn how quickly this quilt will go together.  You’ll have some rectangles cut before class — but the precision cutting we’ll do in class.  Then we’ll sew!  Truly you’ll be amazed at how easy these curves come together.  Once your blocks are complete — standard quilt construction (blocks –> rows) is how you finish! \nA great stashbuster!  You can create an organized quilt in a rainbow sequence… work with patriotic colors\, personal favorites or just raid you stash!! \nThursday\, April 17 — 10:30 AM – 4:30 PM \n \nNote:  Class fee includes templates/pattern. \nVisit https://www.honeybeequiltstore.com/ to register or email me for more information.
